Now it's final - we've merged!

We are pleased to announce that we recently completed negotiations on mergers and acquisitions, in which control of Peleg was sold to the traveltech company "Lognet", thus opening a new chapter in the technological era of tourism software in Israel.

This acquisition constitutes a significant strategic step for Lognet, and aims to strengthen its position in the tourism market and expand the portfolio of solutions it offers to travel agencies. Combining the technologies and expertise of the two companies will allow us to offer customers more advanced and innovative solutions, and improve their user experience.
Up until the acquisition, each of the companies managed a solution for a specific market, but after the transaction is completed, travel agencies will be able to receive from the merged company a complete and comprehensive solution under one umbrella, from creating new products and distribution, through their sale on various trading sites, to booking and financial management.

"It was a necessary move," notes Roi Friedman, the leaving CEO of Peleg, "the synergy that existed with Lognet has been always beneficial with our customers, and it was only a matter of time before a merger, that would boost value for agencies, would take place."
Lognet CEO, Yaron Sar-Shalom, says, "This is another step for Lognet on its path to providing a complete solution, throughout the entire supply chain, to travel agents, both wholesalers and retailers. By combining the capabilities of the two companies, we will be able to provide travel suppliers with broader solutions for creating and managing core products and at the same time distributing them to the B2C / B2B platforms, which we currently manage. At the same time, we will provide retail agencies with a variety of operational capabilities to streamline and increase sales."

The two parties have already begun implementing processes to upgrade existing activities and in the near future it will be possible to see how the systems transfer data to each other without the need for manual intervention.

Our representatives will also visit the annual IMTM tourism exhibition and expand on the merger and future plans to colleagues in the industry
